Vacuum Lines Routing

I need some help. I have a 1995 Toyota 4 runner. I had some motor problems with it. I asked a friend to replace the motor for me because I am a 85% Medically Retired Marine. He recently passed away. After several weeks has passed and me going to several garages here in town and in the local area with no help from any of them my brother and I decided to try and find out ourselves.

Has anyone else experienced this problem as well? If so could someone please give me an answer to this problem so I can get back to driving it again? I would greatly appreciate any help I can get with this situation I am in.

Semper Fi,

Probably the easiest way is to find someone with the same model and take some pictures of the engine bay. Or even goto a parts store and buy a manual, only about 20 bucks. Or maybe someone here can throw some pics of their engine on. We know it's a '95 what engine, trim level, etc. Good luck

Yea good luck w/ that in the manual at the parts store. Haynes doesnt really show alot. Maybe Chilton's but not sure. I have the FSM and will look at that. Is it 4wd, 4cyl, 6cyl. I had the same prob and the PO replaced the motor w/ a used and had all of the vacuum lines going everywhich way but right. Cruise didnt work nor did the 4wd but it drove fine. What exactly is wrong

These pictures came in really handy yesterday.. I finally got the correct lines in there homes.. it was actually just the fuel line was hooked up to the vacumm line which caused fuel to dump into the intake.. super flooded it.. but thanks again for the pics they were really helpful.. @Marine Hope they helped you also.. good luck

Still don't have all the vacuum info I need.

I just bought a '95 4runner with the 3vz engine. I have the factory service manual and have searched the internet for vacuum diagrams and found several. Despite all this, I still can't solve the mystery of one line. So, the throttle body has 5 ports, 4 near the throttle plate and one at the very back of the body. I have found the routing for the front 4 ports, but can not for the life of me determine what hose hooks to the back port! HELP.
